User table

I've been looking at the details of the database, and the code, and I notice that there is a user table within the database, but as far as I can see, it is created but never used. Is there something that I'm missing?

In particular the user table would be useful to automatically select the correct imap server when the user logs in, rather than having to enter the name of the server or simply use the default server as set in the config file.
