"Empty Trash" button
« on: May 30, 2008, 09:38:51 AM »
I'd like to request an "Empy Trash" icon or button, maybe up in the icon area above the message list next to the printer icon.

Like most people, I get a LOT of spam (tagged) which is automatically redirected to a folder, and it's quite tedious to go through pages and pages of emails hitting select all and "move to trash", then having to go through the trash and do it all again to actually delete them. It would be good to just have a button to empy the entire trash with one click (and maybe an "are you sure" confirmation for those brain-fart moments)

This is probably the only gripe I have about Roundcube. I've been using it for about 2yrs now and I feel it's easily the best open-source webmail client available. Thanks for writing a great piece of software :)

What version or skin are you using? The default skin in the last few versions already as this. It isn't well marked, but it's there just below the folder list. I've attached a screenshot with the button marked. This is version 0.3.1.

As a side note, I vastly prefer the older versions were the Compact, Empty, and Select options were spelled out. The new tiny buttons recently introduced are not intuitive, nor labeled and many users have trouble with them.
