attempting to understand
« on: November 14, 2008, 06:15:11 AM »
i have just successfully installed roundcube [ clap clap clap ] after a friend referred me to use it. i was under the impression that with roundcube, i'd be able to host email accounts for people under my domain. but from 2 days of migraines from trying to configure, install, and get this thing to work then succeeding... i found myself stumped at the actual login. i downloaded hMailServer, thinking that it would help me to configure some type of sign up feature as well as provide IMAP? i suppose....

so all-and-all, i'm guessing i wasted my time supposing that this email thing was for hosting when it was ACTUALLY for my own domain's email?

i don't know, i'm so lost. i've been really googling the heck out of this stuff from IMAP to the POP3 things and man, i have the headache of a lifetime. ;D

is there any hope and help?

RC is an email client and does not have the code to add new accounts to the MTA
