Connection to IMAP Server failed
« on: September 16, 2009, 01:16:59 PM »
Was running fine up until a few minutes ago:

roundcubemail-0.3-stable
hmailserver 5.2.1 build 361
Apache 2.2.11
PHP 5.3.0
MySQL 5.1.36
Windows XP

I had this error message initially then it disappeared now its back.  I have been messing with the main.inc.php to try different combinations.

$rcmail_config['mail_domain'] = 'mydomain.com';
$rcmail_config['smtp_server'] = 'mail.mydomain.com';

Anyone have any ideas on this subject?

Found this link but was not helpful.

EDIT: Maybe this will give more insight.  I can not 'telnet localhost 143' or 'telnet mail.mydomain.com' and get a response but I do get one from 'telnet 192.168.1.100 143' which is the same machine.

The imap server is configured with:

Code: [Select]
$rcmail_config['default_host'] = 'mail.mydomain.com';
$rcmail_config['default_port'] = 143;
