CSS problem in Firefox 1.5 Win32
« on: August 28, 2006, 02:42:50 PM »
Hi there !

Another bug report for today...

when using firefox 1.5 under windows XP, I have some CSS issues...
Some input fields (both login page, Address book (new contact)) size are too big... (resolution 1024x768) and scrolling is needed...

I've no such problem using IE...

Does someone have an idea on how to correct this ??

Alex

PS : Hard-reload (both ctrl+F5 and clear cache) doesn't change the problem for me...

I think it has to do with the differences in the way Windows Firefox and Linux Firefox render forms. I used to have the same problems until I switched to Ubuntu, and everything was fixed. A friend told me that Firefox on Linux rendered forms differently so I'm guessing that the lead developer uses Linux and therefore the forms are made to look right in Linux and end up looking weird in Windows.

Just a theory.
