Plugin documentation / change password plugin
« on: June 27, 2009, 12:31:38 PM »
Hi there!

I wanted to install the change password plugin here: /trunk/roundcubemail/plugins/password ? RoundCube Webmail

I couldn't find a documentation which describes the installation process of a plugin. Is there one? How do I install the change password plugin? Also found nothing in the wiki.

best regards

Plugin documentation / change password plugin

Hi there.

I need some help for configuring the password change plugin. I have installed it on RC version 3 Beta, but can't get it to work correctly. Maybe the problem could be, that I have my users in a mysql-table with md5-crypted password. I therefore have tried to encrypt it in the plugins query part (like mysql does with md5('%p'), but this didn't resolve my problem.
Maybe another problem could be, that I have roundcube in it's own database and the mailserver-virtual users in an other? (Cofiguration nearly like: Howto: ISP-style Email Server with Debian-Etch and Postfix 2.3)

I tried it with the plugin password from plugins directory in 3Beta, but couldn't get it to work. As it isn't very well documented, I really don't know how to customize and tried it by myself without any luck. :(

Can anybody help me?

Hi, my name´s Juan Carlos, and i have got installed roundcube.
And i want to install some plugins.
I was created the plugins dir, and placed the files there into each directory.
I was modified the main.inc.php file and i was included this lines:

// use this folder to search for plugin sources
$rcmail_config['plugins_dir'] = 'plugins/';

// List of active plugins. Add the name of a directory found in 'plugins_dir'
$rcmail_config['plugins'] = array('contextmenu','Emoticonos','additional_message_headers');

And nothing more. But don´t works. Whats wrong? Somebody can help me???

i think you have the 0.2.2 stable release installed

you must install RC 0.3 beta or the current SVN Version
Downloading RoundCube Webmail
