0.3 release timeframe
« on: July 02, 2009, 08:28:15 PM »
Hi all,

ok, I understand by look at the timeline in the SVN tracker that version 0.3 has about 65% of its tickets taken care of, but is there an actual timeline as to when we think 0.3 is going to be released and made the current stable software version?

Are we talking weeks? months? a year? (i know there is no way to really pinpoint this kind of thing because of its open source nature, and that fact that it is built by people that are nice enough to donate their time to the project)

I'm just wondering, because I think that the API plugin system in 0.3 is vastly superior to the patching that has to happen with the 0.2.2 version and below.

I am integrating it with our system, and need to write some custom code in some API's and use some other people's too, so I'm working on my things, and hoping that the release of 0.3 may cooincide with my own...

Thanks,

Tim.
