Switching between IMAP Accounts has no Effect
« on: August 05, 2009, 09:09:18 AM »
I have a question with the external IMAP Accounts.

I configured two accounts and they are shown in the left upper corner on my Inbox. But when I click on my seccond account, nothing happens. I stay logged into my default account.

Does anybody know where my mistake could be?
The configuration seems to be right since I can log in with the same data into roundcube normaly.

Thanks in advance!

Cross-check on a demo account @ mail4us.net :: Welcome to mail4us.net. So we could narrow if it is a bug or a configuration issue.

BTW, I won't fix things in this old plugin. It will be ported next to 0.3RC1.

Same problem all of a sudden

I discovered this morning that I have the same problem - only developed since last night.  Original account flicks back on and a message says 'Failed to establish connection to Imap host'.  I assumed it was my host server but I can access the account with other mail programs so presumably not.  At some stage while trying to get to the account I had an error message about the server's certificate having run out a few hours ago, but cannot tremember what brought that up.  I will keep playing with it and see if any clues show themselves.

Found out where that message came from - when I try to login to the webmail on my host server.  Either the original account or one of the remote imap ones gives this:

Secure Connection Failed

webmail-srv2.servage.net uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate expired on 20/08/09 08:49.

(Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)

    * This could be a problem with the server's configuration, or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server.

    * If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary, and you can try again later.

However, both Thunderbird and Claws Mail connect OK, so I have no idea what is going on.  If I do not get to the bottom of it I shall contact servage.

I have a similar problem with external imap accounts. I installed the plugin and added gmail and my local webspace mail account. When i log in, the webspace mails are shown. No when i switch to the gmail account, the gmail mails are shown. But when i try to switch back to my webspace mail accont i am thrown out of roundcube and get a error like "connection to imap host failed". But why does it fail ? Before i switched to gmail it worked perfect. Every time i switch back to my old account, i am thrown out of roundcube. Any Idea ?

Oh, by the way i use roundcube 0.3 Stable.

Did you install "savepassword" plugin? If not, do it and alter database as suggested in "SQL" folder.
