Bug: Inbox listing fails when user-quota is reached
« on: August 26, 2009, 06:45:57 AM »
I have roundcube version 0.2.2 running for several clients with quota's enabled at ~500M per mailbox (which are regular unix-account).

As soon as they reach there maximum diskcapacity, roundcube won't display the INBOX listing anymore (it appears empty). Probably because it needs to write a small file somewhere. This, however, makes it necessary for me to up their quota first - before they can log in and clean-up their mailbox.

Is there a way for this to work differently?

Thanks for a great product,
Fili

Can you check if it is really a RoundCube Problem. Probably the server responds with a overquota message and does not send the message list.

I use hMailServer and have cross-checked it. Message list is displayed for me if mailbox is over quota.

RoundCube does not write any files when fetching the message list.

You're right, it appears to be a problem within Dovecot.
I'll proceed to their support forum :D

Thanks for your help!
