Hi all:

I am first time to use the roundcube mail and first time to build up the web mail server.

1. I built a internal imap server (roundcube), and I have a external imap server.
so what i have to configure when i want to download email from external to internal server?

2. secondly, I want to set a virtual user accounts, how to configure that???

please help me asap..........

RoundCube is not a IMAP server its a IMAP client, it would connect directory to the external IMAP server.

so if i want to download the email from external server, I need to build a imap server in my internal network first?

I don't know exactly what your trying to do, but it doesn't RoundCube doesn't store IMAP email so you would need to find a different solution.

I build a internal server and install the roundcube as imap client,
then I want to do is that using roundcube get the email from hosting sever, but the email data is really saving in my internal server. (just like pop3 download the email to internal and delete email from external server)

(p.s. I dont want to forward the email from hosting sever to my imap client achieve that.)

That is not possible with RoundCube it doesn't download the email it only reads the email from the IMAP server .
