Database reset/deleted?
« on: August 19, 2010, 04:59:56 AM »
Ok, I am a newbie to sysadmin, testing the waters with a $10 a month cloud server from rackspace (Great service *Look Ma, No Aff link!*)

I have been trying to get ISPConfig to work and done fairly well so far, I have sites, FTP, mail servers etc all running nicely but when I rebooted the server, i got the "service not available error [500]" error,

I modified the  main.inc.php file to let me back into the installer to debug as it had all the checks to ensure it is working, and apparently my DB-Schema was not initialised, but when I went into phpmyadmin, all the tables were there, but all empty.

Any Idea what I am missing in the settings or configs to not Erase my database data when the server is rebooted?

I am running Fedora 13 (Goddard) if it is any help to anyone.

Cheers
Ben

Sounds like Roundcube fails to connect to your database using the information you've specified.

Check config/db.inc.php and logs/errors
