Author Topic: Message with attachment gets blank body in sent folder (Read 6970 times)

Hi!

We have used Roundcube for a few months now and absolutely love it!

But after upgrading to 0.4 (stable) we have seen a problem that we didn't have before. If I send an email (text or HTML) with an attachment, the body is blank when I look at it in my Sent-folder.

The recipient gets the email WITH the message in the body, no problem. And we have looked at older emails from before the update (0.3.1), and then we didn't have the problem. Tested on Chrome and Safari on Mac, and on IE and Firefox on PC.

Does anybody know if we can fix this by changing anything with us? Or should we report this as a bug in some way?

I know I prefixed this wrong, but couldn't find 0.4 stable. LEt me know if I should post this elsewhere.

Its working fine for me, is there anything in your error log and are you using any plugins?

Thanks for your input! So, you can send a message with an attachment with 4.0 and see the message in your sent-folder? Then I guess it's something in our configuration. Any ideas?

I do get

but we did get that before the upgrade as well. I don't know if it could be related.

Oh, and about plugins. We don't use any. But we have made quite a few changes to the config-file.

Can you enable imap_debug in /config/main.inc.php and post the output.

Can you post all of the log up to [14-Sep-2010 18:43:06 +0200] that way we can see the body of the message.

Ok. Sorry for the late reply!!! I am really grateful that you take the time to help me with this. I hope that I can helt out with the RoundCube-project myself eventually - I like it a lot.

I am not see the imap server return a body for the email, its a little hard to tell with how much is in the log, could you turn off imap_debug then go to the sent folder and turn on imap_debug then click on the message and then turn off imap_debug so it just logs the opening of the message. Also what was in the message body of the email?

Your mail server definitely isn't returning the body of the message. What mail server are you using? Also out the curiosity can you download the attachment from them email in the sent folder?

It doesn't return body because Roundcube doesn't ask for it and this is because bodystructure response is wrong. Could you attach here complete raw message source from the server?

In the full 'screen mode' - 2 clicks por a message in 'Sent' folder i can see all the text and the attachments.

Skaero - we use sendmail. And yes, I can open the attachment from the sent folder.
