[Solved] Plugin "settings": no "menu" entry
« on: October 18, 2010, 11:25:48 AM »
Hello,

This is my first post, please be patient :-)

I've installed the settings and accounts plugins. Everything *is working* BUT i can't see the "Account Administration" in the settings list nor anywhere...

However, I can see the plugins are active and even use them by manually entering /?_task=settings&_action=plugin.accounts&_framed=1 in the adress bar... So I managed to have mutliple accounts, I've the drop list with my accounts, the settings screens are somewhat modified (by the the settings plugin, I suppose)... Well, it's working.

But that "Account Administration" doesn't appear  anywhere int the RC interface, therefore I can't access the "User preferences" for the accounts. What happends ? Where do I have to search ?

Regards,

Suske
aka François

Didn't see your answer. Thanks for it.

After I created the test account, i realised my RC version was still 0.4.

After upgrading to 0.4.2, everything is ok ! Nice job.

I presume you are not intersted in the test login anymore but i'll keep for later, who knows :-p

I'am using version 0.3.1-3 from my distribution (Ubuntu 10.04). Does that mean, that i have to upgrade the roundcube-version if i want to use the account-plugin (which depends on the settings-plugin)?

Yes you would have to upgrade to use the latest version of the accounts plugin.

Exists there any debian-repository for roundcube (I think it woul'd be much easier to update than by doing it manually).

Or does earlier versions of the plugin-collection exist (I think i didn't need the latest version)?

I'm not aware of any Debian repository for roundcube that aren't still on version 0.3.1, there are older versions of the accounts plugin but you have to fine them because they are no longer listed on the site. I'd recommend just do the upgrade its not that hard to do just read this: http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Upgrade

Thanks for information.
I've updated roundcube manually to 0.4.2 and now it works fine.
