Few probs - spell chk, imap timeout, update
« on: October 19, 2010, 05:24:03 PM »
Hi all, first post and like to say hope your all well...

PLEASE IGNORE THE PREFIX AS I DONT KNOW WHAT VER THEY ARE ON

Im an IT guy and a customer of mine in the uk using cPanel via namesco has been using roundcube via IE...

firstly her spell checker is grayed out ? other email accounts on the server work fine, its only this one account that the spell checker is grayed out... can someone please let me know how to re-activate please

Secondly... she has been having this prob for the last week or two where as she leaves her email open and minimised all day, it "seems" to time out and ask for username and password to re log in (see screen print) BUT when she types in her email and pass as per usual it wont log on and it seems to kick her out for half hour or so... very strange... is this a known issue or a way to disable the timeout?

Thirdly... is it worth updating their roundcube? 1)not sure how 2)not sure what ver they are on 3) i cant seem ti find a new update package on here

MANY MANY MANY THANKS FOR YOUR POSITIVE RESPONSES.

ok ive installed 0.4.2 and the spell checker is back... (would still like to know what had happened)

still got to wait to see if the "log out" issue still happens but would still also like to know how to turn off the timeout function

cheers

You can change $rcmail_config['session_lifetime'] in /config/main.inc.php
