Spell Checking Not Working
« on: October 25, 2006, 11:49:36 PM »
I'm using RoundCube version 0.1-20060907. I am having an issue with spell checking. When I click the "ABC" icon to commence spell checking, it returns that there were no spelling errors found, when I purposely misspelled words. I'm wondering if there's something I have to enable on my server to get it working properly, or is it simply not working in this version of the SVN? I've searched the forums, but haven't found anything that answered my problem. I'm also using the spell checker which is located between the "Send Message" and "Attach a file" icons, not the one included with tinyMCE.

Best Regards,
Dimpared

Have a look at the logfile.
Chances are you will need to edit the php configuration and set it to allow socket transport for ssl.

tofinoguy,

Thanks for the response, but I figured out the problem. I had my host install php4-openssl as proposed in the following thread, and it worked like a charm. Thank you however for your help.
