vcard
« on: January 20, 2011, 07:37:30 PM »
I want to be able to send out my vcard with ever email that goes out.  I thought vcard_attachments plugin would assist, but I do not see anything related in my roundcube setting.  How can I add a vcard to my signature?

I also added emoticons and do not see that anywhere also.  Need some help...would be greatly appreciated.

You have to use vcard_attach plugin from MyRoundcube plugins bundle.

See download link in my signature.

rosali - I appreciate the response back.

I followed your instruction on downloading the MyRoundCube Plugins

1 downloaded complete

2 unzipped the download

3 move the plugins from download into my plugins folder (selected vcard_attach and folderbuttons)

4a did nothing ...no sql

4b has local language

4c has no config file

4d do not see any special requirements so I did nothing

4e registered it like the following

// List of active plugins (in plugins/ directory)
$rcmail_config['plugins'] = array("vcard_attachments","vcard_attach","emoticons","folderbuttons");

I am not seeing any additional functionality...no vcard_attach, emoticons, folderbuttons....nothing.  Not sure what I am doing wrong.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

ok....I cleared my cache and the "attach vcard" option has now become available in the "composing message" section under the preferences folder.

I see the vcard in the attachment section when I go to compose an email?  Where is that vcard.vcf stored or being pulled from?  Where can I edit it?

Thanks,

Stapuff

ok...I understand now.  I either need to add more functionality to my identity settings "form" & or supply more info to the vcard_attach.php file itself

I appreciate all of your help.  This is some really good stuff.

Thanks,
