LOGIN: Authentication failed

Not being able to find a solution in google I am turning her efor help.
THanks in advance.

I installed version 0.5 and completed all installation steps, including "Test IMAP" config.
"Connecting to localhost...
IMAP connect:  OK(SORT capability: yes)"

But, when trying to enter roundcube, I get a login failed

[25-Jan-2011 13:18:48 +0100]: IMAP Error: Login failed for wp.rauchholz@mydomain.com from 192.168.20.101. LOGIN: Authentication failed. in /var/www/html/mail/program/include/rcube_imap.php on line 183 (POST /mail/?_task=login&_action=login)

telnet home 143 gives me:
* OK [CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 LITERAL+ SASL-IR LOGIN-REFERRALS ID ENABLE IDLE STARTTLS AUTH=PLAIN] Dovecot ready.


Any ideas?

Check your IMAP server logs. It should show details why login fails.

how is your "$rcmail_config['username_domain'] = '';"?

you should be blank, i guess.
