Is this going to work well for touchscreen mobiles? iPhone/Pod/Pad? The current Ajax stuff is not very useable on those devices.

Will this be installed alongside or instead of the regular LiteCube skin?

Just a guess, here, but from prior experince with Roundcube and skins I'd probably recommend a second installation for a skin as radically different as this. If you renamed the skin folder as "default" you might be able to share the database with a normal Roundcube install, as long it also only used a single skin with no choices.

The goal for this mobile roundcube skin is to have it running on the same roundcube installation with auto-detection so it will switch the skin to the LiteCube desktop or mobile version depending on what type of browser you're using. It will also save you from having to upkeep 2 separate versions. We have successfully done it with Squirrelmail on our MobileMe "itheme". A desktop and mobile counterpart using the same install with auto browser detection.

Thanks to all the volunteers. I will get back to you when it's ready for some play time

LiteCube and Alpha mobile themes are now ready :)

We had a little delay with our RC mobile skins but we did make steady progress and it is now ready based on the latest version of RC.

Not only 1 but 2 matching mobile/desktop skins. LiteCube and Alpha.

Not only do you get a matching desktop/mobile skin but we have developed a plugin so your installation auto switches between mobile and desktop devices.

And yes, the mobile skin is just another skin you drop into your skin folder, no messing around with anything.

If you want to test a live version please PM me. Your feedback is always appreciated.
