I got a virtual server machine, which has a mail server somewhat like this :
mx.myvirtual.com
It uses postfix and dovecot for e mails, the os is debian 6 and roundcube was installed from apt. I know, older version, but the new one acts weird, so this one worked without issues, till this change was made.
For some reason, i needed the
myvirtual.com domain and had to change
mx.myvirtual.com to
mx.yourvirtual.com. I made the changes in postfix
/etc/postfix/main.cf, switching the names and in
/etc/hostname and
/etc/hosts also and now I can see and receive the emails (in roundcube) but can't compose or send, or reply to them. When I try to hit compose in roundcube, it does nothing and when I try to reply to an email, it returns me this error :
Message has not been sent. Do you want to discard your message?
I can send emails from postfix, using webmin or telnet, just roundcube has some problems in doing that. The firewall is down and everything should be OK by my... calculations

!
I guess it's a permission problem, but don't know what files needed permission and why ?!
Or maybe something in the database needs to be changed, after I changed the address of the mailserver from mx.mydomain.com to mx.yourdomain.com ?
I'm missing something here ,
I searched the entire Internet, corner to corner, including porn and found no answer to this !
Please help !
