Problem with sending mail via Roundcube
« on: September 23, 2011, 08:53:31 AM »
I've been using roundcube for about 2 years now and all of a sudden, as of today,  i am unable to send email with RoundCube.

The error i get in Roundcube states that SMTP Authentication failed.

In the errors file i find :

Code: [Select]

[23-Sep-2011 14:09:51 +0200]: SMTP Error: SMTP error: Authentication failure: Invalid response code received from server (Code: 535) in  /var/www/htdocs/roundcube/program/steps/mail/func.inc on line 1501 (POST /?_unlock=loading1316779791192?_task=mail&_action=send)
[23-Sep-2011 14:37:12] Invalid response code received from server (535):

in my /var/log/mail.warn logfile i find :

Code: [Select]

Sep 23 14:37:12 Aphrodite-Artemis postfix/smtpd[29532]: warning: SASL authentication problem: unable to open Berkeley db /etc/sasldb2: No such file or directory
Sep 23 14:37:12 Aphrodite-Artemis postfix/smtpd[29532]: warning: SASL authentication problem: unable to open Berkeley db /etc/sasldb2: No such file or directory
Sep 23 14:37:12 Aphrodite-Artemis postfix/smtpd[29532]: warning: SASL authentication failure: no secret in database
Sep 23 14:37:12 Aphrodite-Artemis postfix/smtpd[29532]: warning: localhost[127.0.0.1]: SASL DIGEST-MD5 authentication failed: authentication failure

The thing is, i do not use SASLAUTHD ... So i have no clue why all of a sudden this is giving me errors ...

Any help is very much appreciated ... :(

Thanks in advance,
