Send Email from Internet to "Internal network"
« on: January 04, 2012, 02:54:55 PM »
Hey Guys,

first i am new and i hope you will try to help me.
second is, i don't know the right forum, i hope this one.

Ok now to my problem/question.

In school we have a delixs server with roundcube, you only can send messages/emails from the network to a other network user. There is no way to send or to get from WWW

I dont want to hack the server ;)
I work with my teacher and we want to find a good solution for "BYOD".
On think is to allow ssh, so send files from home to a personal folder on the schoolserver.

But we have one problem

for example: some people work in a group at a project and one is getting ill. He can't send the others his work (he does at home).

So our idea was, to send a mail or ssh command to roundcube and roundcube send a mail with the files to the others in his group.

Is there a solution for our idea?

thanks and greets :)

PS: i hope you understand my problem, and sry for my bad english :(

Hi!

RC is an graphical interface only.

If you want to send a mail via ssh you have to use the mail server.

Rgds.
