Hope, I'm in a right part of this forum...

I'm using RC 0.7.0. I have my own plugin for RC with dropdown menus created by HTML tag, but I was unsuccessfull. I also tried to use 'size' and this works.

I tried have this now: "my_combo = new html_select(array('name' => 'bypass_virus_checks', 'width' => '300px'));

You can use 'style' and put in the css code you want.
