Incoming emails
« on: April 07, 2012, 02:10:25 PM »
Hello!
I have a problem with Roundcube 0.7.2 (Stable version). I installed it and I had configured POP3, IMAP, MySQL settings correctly, the problem is: i can send emails but i can't get incoming emails (tested with yahoo mail, hotmail, gmail and freemail(it's a hungarian email provider). I checked all folders and I doesn't found incoming mails. In 3rd step of installation I tested the settings, and then I got the test email from RoundCube.
Before that I installed Roundcube 0.7.2 for same hosting (1freehosting.com) and there worked fine.
Sorry for mistakes, I am hungarian :)

If your trying to connect to other hosts like gmail my first guess is the firewall is blocking the connection.

You'll need to allow imap connections to outside hosts on port 143 (standard imap) or the port that the email service is using, for example gmail uses port 993.
