Title: Release data 1.4.5
Post by: Master One on May 31, 2020, 02:42:54 AM
Any idea when 1.4.5 will be released, since the development roadmap (https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/milestones) already shows 100% complete?

Moderator's note: This topic was moved from the News and Announcements section to the General Discussion section because it is not an announcement.

A minor release milestone being at 100% does not indicate imminent release because minor releases typically consist of bug fixes rather than new features. For example a few days after the 1.4.4 release the 1.4.5 milestone was already at 100% because only 1 issue had been reported and it had been solved. The devs will release new minor versions when there are significant bug or security fixes.

Well, 1.4.5 is already showing up as tagged under Releases (https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/releases), which is what I now used for a fresh production installation (just to try out the manual way using composer and install-jsdeps.sh instead of a complete package).

Is it safe to assume that this is indeed already the final release 1.4.5, which means there is no need to re-download and upgrade once it has actually been marked as Release?
