Title: Release Candidate for version 1.0
Post by: SKaero on February 05, 2014, 08:29:34 PM
We just published the feature-complete release candidate for the upcoming version 1.0. After adding some new features in 1.0-beta we further cleaned up the code, fixed some more bugs and prepared everything for the long awaited major release.

So we invite all early adopters to test this release candidate and report remaining bugs to our bug tracker.

See the complete Changelog at trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog
and download the new packages from roundcube.net/download.

I don't use cPanel, so I'm not totally familiar with their processes, but if I were to guess I'd say that it won't be available until sometime after the official stable release. I can't imagine they'd use the beta or release-candidate version.

Any Clue how long it take until 1.0 gets stable?

The sqlite issue has apparently been fixed (http://www.roundcubeforum.net/index.php/topic,10712.msg43186.html#msg43186).  Don't know if it was this release or some prior release as until just now, I had stopped trying any releases other than from the 0.8 series.

Great work!

I'm not one of the developers, but it appears to be getting close. The Roadmap shows a freshly assigned due date of 2 April. It's not unheard of to have the release be late, but I still expect the official stable release within a few weeks.

When the Mobile Responsive skin is launched, are cell phones are going to Auto Detect that?  :)

Mobile device detection normally works the other way - when the web app detects that the http request is coming from a mobile device it serves the mobile version of the app.
