Title: Stop automatically deleting messages in Trash
Post by: Yvie on April 03, 2017, 03:31:53 AM
Hello, Can someone tell me how to stop Roundcube automatically deleting messages in Trash? Or to change the length of time that messages are automatically deleted? Thanks for your help.

The only related options Roundcube has are in Preferences > Server settings. Note this might be some IMAP server feature Roundcube has no control over.

Hi,

and any setting in roundcube done will not prevent trash form emptying if the emailserver itself (as roundcube is just a client) is set to expunge trash every x days.

Thanks for your replies. I ended up creating a folder to move read emails into, instead of deleting.

There is the archive plugin you might want to look into. You can set it up to give you an Archive button and have read emails filed away by year or month.
