Hi there. Sorry for my english first.
I have decided to install roundcube on my hosting...

When i surf to my folder like http://mysite.com/mail/ - where I left RoundCube

probably we have magic_quotes....
but when I changed it like this (in .htaccess)

php_flag magic_quotes_gpc 0
php_flag magic_quotes_runtime 0

nothing happened
problem is still actual

What to do?

do u even have PHP installed on your server? ???

yes. there is php 4.4....
Apache 2
Mysql 4.. - database..
any comments?

Could be related to gzip compression. Try to remove lines 91-94 in index.php

I have commented this lines.
nothing happened.
