Title: Database not available
Post by: dgnelson on January 04, 2011, 12:40:25 AM
I posted a similar thread a couple of weeks ago but it didn't appear to show up.  My apologies if it's been answered somewhere and I didn't see it.

First, would like to say how good the demo version of roundcube looks.

I've installed roundcube on a debian system along with mysql.  I've configured mysql as per the installation doco and have a roundcube user, password and a roundcubemail database.  Seems to work okay when I connect from the command line.

But when I run the installer from a browser, I get an error on the 'check environment' page saying that mysql isn't installed.  I don't know how to convince it otherwise and hope someone can give me some hints as to how to fix this.  Mysql is installed on the same host, I don't think that I've done anything different from the standard installation as per the doco.

Thanks
