I have been able to get my the spell checker enabled with some hlep from my host however it only works on newly created email accounts. On previosuly configured accounts it does not do anything...it isnt grayed out as it was before, it appears to load but gives no results...
Any ideas?

If you delete the user settings in the database for the accounts where it doesn't work does the spell checker start functioning again?

Err, sorry what user settings?....and there is a database.?.....
Might need some more help how to do this?

Clear the data in the preferences column in the users table in the RoundCube database.
