" tag, add the closing "" tag for the wrapper.[/step]
[step=4]Open common.css[/step]
[step=5]Add the following CSS to common.css:
#wrapper {
width:800px;
position:absolute;
top:0px;
bottom:0;
left:50%;
margin-left:-400px;
}
[/step]
[step=6]Save all files, upload them to your server. Hard-refresh the browser.[/step]
[/tutorial]
That will give you a wrapper that is 800px wide all the time (no more, no less). You can see this in action here (http://demo.roundcubeforum.net).
As for a dark theme, just edit the CSS to the way you please. I haven't created a theme for RC yet, so I'm not sure exactly what you need to edit in order to get it the way you want.
Hi EinfachClicken.
That will give you a wrapper that is 800px wide all the time (no more, no less). You can see this in action here (http://demo.roundcubeforum.net).
Isn't there some way to just center the entire wrapper on the screen, once the width of 800 px has been established?Yes, that's what the "left:50%; margin-left:-400px;" is for. It first moves the div to teh center of the screen, then back 1/2 the width of the div, so it's centered ;)
/* css hack for IE */
Then look to see if it has a "width" set. If it does, I think 600px will work fine (it does for the main message list). So just peruse that for those fixes.width: expression(600+'px');
<html>
<head>
<title>webmail</title>
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
function doResize(){
var myheight = document.body.offsetHeight;
document.getElementById('wrapper').height=myheight-5;
}
//-->
</script>
</head>
<body bgcolor="#000000" topmargin=0 onload="javascript:doResize()">
<center>
<iframe id=wrapper border=0 frameborder=0 src="http://localhost/webmail/work" width=850 height=800></iframe>
</center>
</body>

#1 - The JS stuff has to made cross browser compatible (I do not have the necessary resources here to do it right now)
#2 - Compose page gets is not shown correct. There is an adjustment of the css stuff necessary.
Let me know, if you will follow this approach or if you go on to implement the css wrapper class.

@EinfachClicken
I have implement the wrapper in my stuff now. Wrapping width and background color is customizable in main.inc.php. Sorry, I have implemented it into my stuff. I plan to release it next weekend (cross browser testings).

For the case you prefer a customized 0.1.1 release, we have to talk about it.

Technician: Just did the install and all of the sql adjustments, please proceed to test and let me know if everything is working up to par?
My response: Nope, we tried using a couple of different accounts and every time we attempt to login we receive this "Can't connect MySQL" error.
Technician: That's exactly what I receive too. The configuration is pretty standard stuff though and I can't find any errors anywhere. Set up a duplicate roundcube with the old mail settings, and all of that works up to par with the identical configuration. Beats me, perhaps the developer can shed some light on this?
Technician again: I just had some additional time on my hands and spent the last couple of hours going bit by bit through the source code. Seems to me that this modification has been designed primarily or perhaps even strictly with the "hMailserver" in mind?
My response: The only additional information that I can provide you with is the link to the forum thread with issue and items of interest about these issues that had been dicussed in the past, located here:

Technician - Final: Well, I ended up restoring all of your original settings again because it doesn't look as though this will be a quick fix and as you already know, I'm off on vacation. Sorry, no more time.
My Response - Final: Okay, that's just as well because the sample that got me real excited about this was the one with the centering and the black background. The last thing that we want to do to our customers, is to bombard them with advertisements which is bound to annoy a lot of people. When I saw your installation, that was an immediate eye-irritant to me, and it also goes exactly against what we promote to our clients .... an advertising free zone where people can enjoy the internet without such annoyances, so that even Seniors and Kids can feel good about what we do. Sorry, but when I gave you the link to the zip file, I actually thought that it was the same "version" as in this screenshot.

We'll see what I can come up with while you're gone. In the meantime, enjoy your vacation and thanks for your help!
<?php

$_SESSION['user_input'] = $user_input;
}
require_once('program/include/cluster_users.inc');

I sent you a PM and offered to give me FTP access to fix it for you remotely. In addition I have offered you to add me to MSN. So do not complain!
