RoundCube News: New version 0.4-beta released

A new major release is now available for deep testing. With this version we fixed over 50 bugs and added new features like threaded message listing and contact groups support as well as many little improvements that make e-mail reading with Roundcube an even better experience.

Nice to hear. But I have a question. Whats the difference between "Beta: 0.4-beta" and "GPL (dependent): 0.4-beta" on the download-page?

RoundCube requires library's that are not necessarily licensed under the GPL like PEAR. The "Beta: 0.4-beta" version includes a copy of them and the "GPL (dependent): 0.4-beta" version doesn't, it only includes the RoundCube code that is licensed under the GPL.
