Title: AT&T is blocking our outgoing messages
Post by: MMcK on June 04, 2015, 11:18:05 AM
We are trying to use RoundCube for our parish and parish staff; we chose this option because we want to have e-addresses such as (name)@stalexanderparish.org  These e-mails would identify both the individual and our parish, an option which is not available from other e-mail providers.

We can receive messages from all kinds of other servers, including AT&T.  However, every time we try to send a message, we get an error message saying: "blocked by sbc:blacklist.mailrelay.att.net" and further "blocked for abuse".

AT&T has not been of any help in solving this problem.  Are there any solutions?

Roundcube is not your email provider, nor does it actually send your outgoing messages. Roundcube is a software package that your email provider uses to give you access to your email. To address this issue, you will need to contact your email provider, they will need to work to get their email server removed from this blacklist.
