Title: Outlook: Messages Not in Sent Items (One Account Only)
Post by: AlonzoMosley on March 17, 2023, 02:24:18 PM
I recently added a new Roundcube mailbox account to my Outlook. I have two other accounts on the same profile. I just discovered it is not saving Sent messages sent from my new account on Outlook.

All three are IMAP accounts.

The two "legacy" accounts are saving Sent messages just fine.

When I log on to webmail for the new account, the sent messages are not in the sent items there, either.

Messages I send from my webmail for the new account instantly appear in the sent items on both the webmail and they sync in Outlook immediately.

Yes, I have "Save sent items" checked in Options (I think that's a global setting, and it is working on the other two accounts).

I am a single user on this machine, no group policies or anything like that.

(I even just re-confirmed my account settings; it sent the Outlook test message, but didn't appear in Sent - either in Outlook or in Webmail).

Roundcube is an IMAP client a bit like Outlook except its web based.

What you are looking for is some Outlook setting. I guess start here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-where-sent-email-messages-are-saved-bd95ef3b-8c04-466a-8576-d1ce0eabeb2c but I'm sure you can look for Outlook guides to IMAP sent folders yourself.

Sorry had bad info. I thought RoundCube hosted the email servers. Got it. Thanks
