Hi there,
Ever since I upgraded my rc from 0.5.3 to 0.6.0 (the latest aivailable version), my address book doesn't work as it should. When I write a new message or when I reply to a mail, the email address isn't saved in the address book. This has worked like a charm before. I did the following checks:
* ./config/main.inc.php:
// By default it is the first writeable addressbook.
// Note: Use '0' for built-in address book.
$rcmail_config['default_addressbook'] = NULL;
(this is unchanged)
I enabled the SQL logger and when I check the log, there is no mention of a SELECT nor an INSERT relating to the address book at all. I also manually added a new address in the book by clicking Address book, this worked. It also listed my old addresses. Also, the autocomplete function when writing a new mail works for old addresses.
Can anyone point to help or might this be a bug?
Thanks! :)

That isn't (and never has) been the default functionality you'd need to use a plugin like the automatic addressbook plugin Roundcube plugin(s) - Overview - Redmine (http://code.crapouillou.net/projects/roundcube-plugins)

Are there any new plugins like this? Thank you

It depends on what you need, MyRoundcube had a lot of different plugins. Some do some don't.

Thanks for your reply ~ (I don't know whether I understand what you mean)
So which plugin do you recommend as I need to add the Email address to Address Book after the the email is sent (in order to autocomplete the "To" Address when compose a mail)?

MyRoundcube wasn't a Roundcube plugin, its was a group of people who made a bunch of plugins that did a lot of different things. Some plugins they made there are replacements for but some there aren't.

automatic_addressbook should do what you want https://plugins.roundcube.net/packages/sblaisot/automatic_addressbook
