Title: password plugin configuration on iPage web hosting - password couldn't be saved
Post by: new_page on June 12, 2013, 03:25:48 PM
hello,

"I have been struggling with this problem couple days ... and the problem is i don't know which password driver to use !!!"

I have a website hosted by "iPage" and one of the services is to install Roundcube as a client webmail ... i did install Roundcube successfully .. and i did activate the password plugin without any problem.

BUT when it comes to change the password. i received "password couldn't be saved" !!!

any idea about password configuration in "iPage" webhosting ???

If I remember correctly iPage uses the vDeck control panel which is a proprietary control panel that has no way to change the password remotely so there is no password driver that works with there system.

thanks a lot... i am grateful for your reply ...

yes, iPage uses vDeck ... so i understand that there is no other solution to enable my emails users change their password by themselves (not using the main control panel) ??

thanks ..
