Does anyone know of a way to sync contacts between Thunderbird and Roundcube. Most of my users check email on the web, and on Thunderbird using IMAP. The biggest complaint is the inability to sync contacts between the two.
I searched and there looks to be no extension for Thunderbird. Any suggestions?

Ooooo yes, would love something like this too, so would a lot of othe too I presume..

my solution:
1. get an account on scheduleworld.com
2. install the scheduleworld-plugin for thunderbird
3. configure roundcube with the scheduleworld-ldap-server
so, you can syncronise TB with scheduleworld and automatically you will get all contacts in roundcube (by ldap contacts).
one problem: if you have more than one email for a contact, autocomplete in roundcube shows only the first one.

maybe someone can write something on the server side that listen on a port and a Thunderbird plugin that can communicate with it and sync contacts. Is there anyone that cat write something like this?

Well what about a Thunderbird extension that queries the MySQL database or something? Or queries a plugin for Roundcube?

I too would be interested in this feature though I certainly don't have enough skill to code it.

Use LDAP and configure both (or more apps) to use the same LDAP server

Are there any new possibilities grown in the past year?
I would greatly appreciate the sync!
