Title: PNG Transparency in IE
Post by: Scubes13 on August 07, 2006, 08:46:28 AM
Has anyone looked at getting the transparent PNG files to display correctly in IE?

I know that IE will not process the transparent settings in PNG files. It dorks it and shows a greyish-blue background instead. Perhaps using transparent gif's would be better?

(Darn IE for not being standards compliant.)

This is really only an issue for the folders list as far as I can tell.

Actually, IE7 fixes this issue. And I'm not sure whether it's still there or not, but there used to be a .htc file in the images folder that the style referenced. Yeah... it's still there.... not sure why it wouldn't work for you now... it's worked ever since they released 0.1beta1....
