Thanks !

One more nice to have, if possible, a little trashcan next to the trash and junk mail folders to empty those folders without having to go into them.

Yes. in IE this skin work incorrect. i don`t know why. i can not do enything. Recomend to use Moziila Firefox.

Post by: mpallo on November 19, 2007, 06:17:02 PM
WOW...this is absolutely stunning. Nice and simple and I love the very professional/executive looking icons etc.

However I have a few others using this as well and need it to work properly in IE7. The logon page is missing the blue bar that is a background to the "Welcome to Webmail" as well in IE7.

Maybe it is just me but it is lightning fast. Not sure why, but this is the quickest theme I have ever used.

Gotta get this puppy working in IE. ;D

Thanks for your hard work on this!

Impressive :D

This theme is really nice.
2 things:
- I use preview pane... i would like to use it
- IE7... Would be good :) It should be some CSS properties...

Keep up!

Love this theme!
Annoying is the IE Problem!
Because I am in Bolivia and 90 % of the Internet cafes only have IE :( (Fast download of Firefox? How have shit connections)

Title: Re: MVISION
Post by: mpallo on November 20, 2007, 08:28:41 PM
Seems like it fits the screen much better than others...not much wasted space and I love the small fonts.

I have thrown up a new RC install just so I can use this myself on FF. Hope we can get it to work on IE7 so I can convert my family members on my domain over to it.

TerrorHawk...thanks so much for the fix.

My login screen and logout page look like the attached in IE7. (login button outside the blue border) Am I the only one?

IE7: When you logout does the login screen jump from the top of the screen down to the middle?

lol, yep mine does that too...
Title: Re: MVISION
Post by: mpallo on November 21, 2007, 10:11:59 PM
I think it is because there is no RC logo on the logon or logout page. It is bumping everything down...I mean up.

OK I just want this to work LOL.
Title: Re: MVISION
Post by: terrorhawk on November 22, 2007, 10:49:09 AM
maby this could help stop the jumping.

in templates/login.html find this line

Code: [Select]
<!---<img src="/images/logo.png" width="165" height="55" border="0" alt="<roundcube:object name='productname' />" hspace="10" />--->
And change it to this

Code: [Select]
"<roundcube:object" hspace="10" />
i dont say it will fix the problem but it could help
Title: Re: MVISION
Post by: terrorhawk on November 22, 2007, 11:00:55 AM
Ok i found somthing else..

If u use the html editor (fckeditor) u must also include the editor css files (u can copy them from the default them or use the one under my post (these are not modified))

if u dont include them the html editor looks very ugly

Wanna fix the look of the login page that is not showing the blue heading?

Open common.css and search for
Code: [Select]
font-family: "Tahoma;and remove the " before the T to read
Code: [Select]
font-family: Tahoma;
Title: Re: MVISION
Post by: AMoo-Miki on November 22, 2007, 05:32:42 PM
Also to make the login page looks in IE, similar to the look on FF, put the following code in login.css

Code: [Select]
form { margin: 0px; }
p { margin-top:11px; }
*input.login-button { padding-top:2px; }
#log-in table td { padding:0px; height:19px; }

This will bring the login button up while making the text inside the button align correctly.
Title: Re: MVISION
Post by: mpallo on November 23, 2007, 01:20:51 PM
Terrorhawk...your fix worked great, the jumping is gone as the logo was commented out. I should have figured that out.

AMoo-Miki...the login button fixed worked perfect for me too.

Thank you both for sharing. Working perfect for me now in IE7.

Hello,

This is a really nice theme. I have already voted for it.

But on going through the theme, it is seen that it contains logos which have very close similarity to At Mail. Will there be any problem with this in future?

Is this GPL just like RC. Can we deploy this for public mail?

Regards

It would be nice, to have all images including "text" as .psd.
So every one could translate it to ther own language ;)

Do you have the "source" files for me (us).

I think, it's good idea to localize images with text.
I've one problem - on Ubuntu Liniux I haven't Tahoma. After change to Sans, layout looks very nice, but some texts are to lenght for their 'image boxes'. I think that css need more cosmetics work :)

Generaly skin is very, very nice :)

I am seeing this problem as well. Copying taskbar.gif out of the original theme gives white spaces in the task bar so I've removed the file again but thought I would let you know.

Something else although not a problem with the skin is you might want to delete the thumbs.db files in the image folders before zipping and uploading ;)

To fix the 404 (file not found) error, either comment out the line
background: url('images/taskbar.gif') top right no-repeat;
in common.css (comments in CSS are done like this /* ... */) or put the attached taskbar.gif in the images directory.

First, thanks for this wonderful skin.

This is one of the reasons that motivate me to switch from squirrelmail to roundcube.

However, there a few plugins that I really like in squirrelmail and notes is one of them.

Therefore, I decided to write a notes plugin for roundcube. I'm wondering if you can create a couple of buttons and a icon for me.

See the attached image.

Thanks.

http://roundcubeforum.net/forum/index.php?topic=2404.msg9638#msg9638

Just download and uncompress the common.zip TerrorHawk attached to his post and overwrite the common.css in the skins/mvision/ folder.

hope that helps

First off, I want to jump on the bandwagon and say great job. I really like the looks of this theme, very clean. Other than that I did make a couple changes, I like showing that I use RoundCube. I remade a few of your icons from @Mail to RoundCube. I have them added below.

I do need to say again, great job! I have never had an artistic eye for layout. I can build upon the work of others but I am always in awe of the work people do.

I love the skin, but unfortunately in my humble opinion the compose a message screen killed it for me. The rest of the skin is absolutely gorgeous but it's like you gave up on trying to make the compose screen look just as good!

It sure is a GREAT looking script. I'd really love to see CAPTCHA added to the login screen. There's a whole bevy of open source implementations such as b2evo, csi, hec, opencaptcha, quickcaptcha, recaptcha, textcaptcha, captcha_php, freecap, hn_captcha, meezerk, phpcaptcha, quickform, textcapnum, watercap out there. I had been using the captcha plugin for SquirrelMail with watercap before we found RoundCube.

Have also inserted a captcha in the log in form, but that contribution is posted to the developers mailing list. For those who are interested read http://franzens.nu/?p=138

Really really nice work, great theme. I was porting a theme I made for RC2 to 0.1-release, then I found this... looks like this is my new theme instead ;)

Keep up the excellent work.

Thanks for the font :) now we can make new buttons with the same style.

For those of you that like me happen to be Mac users, attached is the font in a .dfont format - type in lower case using size 10 for the same type face as in the other buttons.

This post is modification the user display login ( find here : http://roundcubeforum.net/forum/index.php?topic=2768.0 ).

the first 2 steps the same one and third step :

3. Edit skins/default/common.css, search for #taskbar

Above it, add:
Code: [Select]
.mailuser
{
position: absolute;

color: #ffffff;
text-decoration: none;
font-size: 10px;
font-family: "Lucida Grande", Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
z-index: 0;
}

And fourth step:

4. Open skins/mvision/includes/taskbar.html

Code: [Select]
Find the

and replace

And view :-)

No mods to mvision needed. Go to the first page of Heritz post and get the file then stick in the code. I am using hostmonster so I did need to update the password.inc file, but that was a very minor change.

To get Mvision working with 0.1.1 I installed 0.1 applied all of the fixes, copied the skins director to another location, installed 0.1.1 and replaced the 0.1.1 skins directory with the content of the 0.1 skins directory.

I noticed the preview screen does not work correctly on Safari (3.3.1 for Windows)

FYI, the source I downloaded just today from the downloads menu at the top of this site. Perhaps there is a file that is missing. Is there a specific file that the preview pane uses? Please confirm.

Yes, the upgrade messed some things up. I had a deadline at work, so I couldn't devote too much time to it this past weekend. There are over 600 attachments I'll have to re-upload. It may take some time, but I'll try and reupload what I can as I go on this week.

The MVISION download (in the downloads section) should be working, just without the preview pane.

Sounds to me like a cached CSS file is being used. Have you cleared the cache (or done a hard-refresh) to see if that helps?
Title: MVISION
Post by: commin on May 12, 2008, 08:52:09 AM
what do you mean with chache-css file? - what is a hard-refrech at roundcube?

Post by: bpat1434 on May 12, 2008, 09:11:25 AM
When you download images, css, etc. of the web, your browser stores it in local memory for some time. It's called caching. It makes browsing faster so you don't always have to go and get all the images, CSS, etc. on every page request.

A hard refresh in Firefox is done by holding the shift button and clicking "refresh" in the browser. In IE I can't remember how to do it (because I never use IE). You can also just clear personal data and uncheck everything except "Cache". That will do the same thing.

I'm very impressed with this skin. How would one go about changing the width of the folder list? There's a width attribute associated with it, but this doesn't change the container.

Post by: bpat1434 on May 13, 2008, 05:40:14 PM
Change it by modifying the containers width. Everything else should "fall in place".

Skin is working fine apart from the logon screen which is still the default skin.
When I log in it displays the MVISION2 skin ok, and then if i log out the logon box is correct but reloading the page displays the original skin again.
Read through the 2 MVISION posts and can't see why.
Any ideas?

Thanks Julie, It worls like a charm. I looked through the css files to find where to change but I overlooked that.

Now...if you can help again. The configuration file that 'supposedly' changes the theme being used does not work for me, I have been renaming the theme I wanted to 'default' and going that route.

Any hints ??

Have you looked in the "Personal Settings"? Each user can select it's own theme (If allowed by the general setting in de main.inc.php)

Here is mvision without the blue borders around the images in internet explorer.
Just add

Code: [Select]
img {
border-style: none;
}

to common.css

This is the english version.

I would like this too... the current version has a lot of problems from the whole preferences section to the omnipresent issue with attaching files not working in any of the fancy skins, it seems they changed the whole upload module in 0.4, using a class-popup call to arms :)

And I have an other problem that in the main page I can see the massages but I can't see the message preview just if I double click to one of the masseges.

Can you help me?

The last version of the skin is supposed to work with IE8 as you can see here (http://store.roundcubethemes.net/order/index.php?task=product&product_id=1&category_id=1). Although the main website (http://www.roundcubethemes.net/) hasn't been updated for some time, the dev is kinda active (http://www.roundcubethemes.net/forum.php).
