Just updated to SVN release 271. All messages from my existing folders are gone and as I switch between them, my inbox messages disappear.
UPDATE: This also happened when I use the SVN Snapshot "roundcubemail-cvs-20060505.tar.gz" from sourceforge. I used the same database as the previous stable release.

Try to disable caching?
-
Tried that before posting; no luck. I ended up going back to the current stable release as I just couldn't get it to work and the thought of going back to using squirelmail was too horrible to think about. I did however turn off the caching in the stable release and that fixed my messages not showing up until I clicked to another page which was my main problem with the stable release. So now I like the stable more than I did before :-)
I love RC by the way. By far the best webmail client I've ever used. Congrats to the developers!

Try a new SVN Version. I will post the new snapshot of today in a few minutes.

I'm facing the same with my install,
while the beta stable is ok, SVN 20060505 has missing messages in Inbox folder
(after clicking on Select all-->Trash does-not show balance messages)
Plus trash is also empty, instead of showing the messages.

this happened to me and when i connected with another client (Evolution) they magically all came back :)

I also had to update from the 5 May 2006 version posted on sourceforge to the current SVN revision (283). After upgrading the proglem goes away. Upgrading is easy enough, but if this is a common problem perhaps a new SVN snapshot can be posted on sourceforge?

283 seems to have cured this in my install.
Will do more extensive tests in this week and report if any issues are seen.
Many thanks RC Dev. Team.
