Title: Store variables to database

Dear All,

I am trying to create a plug-in to have a variable for every user. which should be maintained in the database.
The not so imp part - the variable is for maintaining the sender's reputation.

The Question::
How can i implement the storage and retrieval of variable from database..

Any plug-in that does that..??
Or
implemented this kind of method for other purposes..??
Or
any docs..??

Any help will be highly appreciated

Several plug-ins use it. You could check the myroundcube plugins (http://code.google.com/p/myroundcube/downloads/list) like 'sticky_notes'.
