Title: Is it ok to copy directory to multiple locations using same database?

I wanted to copy the roundcube directory to multiple website directories and all use the same database to simplify maintenance. Does anybody foresee any problems with this or do I really need to do a fresh install per website (all on the same server)?

I have it installed in the root directory and 2 subdomains using one DB with no problems.

Just remember they're all more or less working as one. For example, in my case, I can login to one account 3 separate times, but if I logout on one directory, all 3 are logged out.
