for the unofficial developers release patches and developing discussions etc...

While I see what you want, the current mailing list that they use seems to serve them well... adding this section would just create bloat in many ways. There aren't too many developers on the forum to begin with, and switching from the mailing list (even just to check the forum or post updates) would be tough.

i've tryed to subscribe to the mailing list but it didn't work :( :-\ i've sent a e-mail to dev+subscribe@lists.roundcube.net with «subscribe» on the subject and body but i didn't recieve an answer from the bot :S
