Title: More options to deal with Trash-folder
Post by: johan67 on November 25, 2009, 08:02:13 PM
I would like to see a bit more options for deleting mail. "Deleting mail older than 30 days", "60 days", ... Or a some text to see how many MB are left in the mailbox. "10MB used from the 50MB available".

I think the deleting thing sounds like the perfect job for a plugin. Your quota usage is displayed at the bottom of the mailbox screen if your IMAP server support quotas (and you have one set).

As an end-user on shared hosting, I don't have the right to install all of those plugins it seems, too bad ... hence my request for more standard features included in the standard versions of roundcube.

Can't you install RoundCube in a webfolder? All you need in addition is a (my)sql database and (php) write permission to logs and temp folder.

Thanks for your reply Rosali. I will do some research about that. As a first-time-user (of roundcube that is), I really have got a lot to learn. My webhosting-account-master says that if I want to install roundcube and/or plugins, I'll need a VPS-account, instead of a shared hosting account (sorry I used the word "virtual" in my precious post, I meant "shared").

You don't need a VPS to install Roundcube, I have installed RoundCube on lots of shared hosting accounts with out any problems.
