Title: message rules and other requests
Post by: rjswilson on July 02, 2006, 10:40:58 PM
I installed roundcube last week and I just love everthing about it.. especially the icon theme and the AJAX. It's definitely one of the best...and i think it's just as good as gmail!! 8) 8)

i just thought some things would be nice to have..even though some of it are small changes..

1. it'd be nice if roundcube could do some filtering with message rules - i know a couple of webmail packages that do this.. i.e. v-webmail

2. It'd also be great if you could expand and collapse subfolders in the folder list - somewhat like Ilohamail.

3. Some of my webmail users are confused when subfolders are listed as Inbox.Sent.Test...so it'd be easier for some people if the folder list in folder preferences are shown somewhat similar to the folder pane on the left.

4. A calendar where you can schedule events..

Overall tho, this is very impressive. I know a little bit of php and javascript, and am willing to help, if you need it. ;D

Calender option is a good idea but I think it should be a plugin or optional feature.

#1: Definetly
#2: Yeah, would be nice to have that.
#3: Shouldn't be a big problem if #2 is done.
#4: I agree with xoqez, it should be a plugin, not part of the native RC Webmail
