Title: Add option to revert to double click to open behavior - RC 1.2.3 [SOLVED]
Post by: mikrost on February 07, 2017, 05:02:58 PM
I just got around to upgrading to 1.2.3 from 1.0. A lot of my users miss how you can't double click a message to open it in a new window anymore. Additionally, the new behavior, putting the message into "move mode", is confusing them and they don't understand what it does. I think this is because there is no other email application that has similar behavior. It also means they can accidentally move a message into a random folder and it gets lost. They would prefer the old behavior.

It would be nice if there was at least a way to disable this in settings and revert to old behavior. I could not find a way to do this.

There was one other thread about this nearly two years ago (http://www.roundcubeforum.net/index.php?topic=22432.0), but no responses. I am surprised because every user I have talked to so far do not like the new behavior.

Works for me. Try with all plugins disabled. Try with different browser.

Thanks, that did it. Contextmenu plugin needed to be updated. Things fail in strange ways!
