Hi,
I logged into Roundcube last night to weed out the spam before I retired for the night only to discover that four years worth of emails had completely disappeared, leaving only 11 unread.
Not only that. but there is nothing in my deleted items folder and some recent contacts I had added have disappeared too. In fact, everything before Thurs 20th April 2017 has vanished.
I don't remember adding or updating any software that might have caused this.
It is really very important that these emails be recovered. My employer requires all employees to use Roundcube and missing client contacts/ emails is quite a serious problem.
Can anyone help with this?

This isn't something that Roundcube would do, you need to look at the mail server and find out what happened there.

What exactly do you mean by email server?

Roundcube is just an email client, it connects to a mail server which is where the email is stored. If your don't know anything about the mail server you should contact your email provider and ask them for support.
