Title: IMAP bug
Post by: gbainbridge on July 03, 2008, 06:38:25 AM
I'm not sure that this is specifically a Roundcube bug, but occasionally I find that Roundcube cannot log me in to my ISP's IMAP server. After attempting to log in to Roundcube, nothing happens and the browser eventually times out with a blank page. This continues for several days after which everything returns to normal.

There is no error message, just a blank page.

Logging in to the server with other software works fine, and Roundcube can happily log into a different server.

I suspect what is happening is that an errant email (probably spam) is preventing the log in for some reason, and after a few days my POP3 client deletes the email that is causing the problem. So far I have been unable to identify any particular email as the source of the problem.

Any thoughts as to what might be happening and why?

Gary.
