Title: local folders
Post by: Saschbert on October 17, 2006, 01:40:20 AM
Hello,

is there a way to create local-folders?
My hoster didn´t give me support to create new imap-folders. I think there´s a way to create local-folders. I can manage my mysql-server and have directly permissions on my root-folder (php).

At this time I can only use the INBOX cause it doesn´t exist other folder like drafts, sent or other.

Is there a way to create local-folders?

Regards,
Saschbert

Currently I believe there is no way to do this. I believe Roundcube keeps all information on the server, and thus you need to be able to create IMAP folders. I believe there is a patch for "labels" like gMail where the messages are stored server-side in one folder, but displayed "sorted" by labels. It was a big discussion a while ago; however, I haven't heard much of it recently.
