Title: scrolling of "messages sort column"
Post by: MKelma on June 22, 2011, 05:37:41 AM
hi,

i'm wondering if it is not possible to set the messages sort column to "fixed"
so that it is not moved out of the visible area, when scolling down in the
messages list:

the footer-bar is fixed - it would be nice to fix the header-bar too :)

am i missing a config switch?
or is this not possible by default?

regards

There is a very old open ticket for this issue:

#1295420 (Scrolling message list obscures column headers) (http://trac.roundcube.net/ticket/1295420)

Roadmap (http://trac.roundcube.net/roadmap)

Skin redesign is on scheduled for 0.7 ... so I'm afraid you have to wait.

From my point of view there are meanwhile lots of methods to archieve a fixed table head cross-browser compatible.
I'm not a member of the devs crew and it is not that important for me to code it myself.

Check this plugin:

http://mail4us.net/plugins/fixTHEAD.zip

It works for major browsers except Safari.
