Title: [0.2.1-0.4beta] No mail displayed if username contains capital
Post by: pierre-oord on July 31, 2010, 07:50:09 AM
Hi All,

I have looked everywhere, but I cannot find anyone with a similar problem.

I run a combination of Xmail, Dovecot and RoundCube. When I create an new user with Xmail, and the username contains capitals (A.b@domain.nl), I cannot see any e-mail or folders for that username after login with Roundcube (login seems to work fine though). If I change the username lowercase (a.b@domain.nl), if works fine.

It is important to know that Outlook or Email Hosting Services | Pick Up Your Email | mail2web.com (http://www.mail2web.nl) (both using IMAP), do show the email messages for usernames with a capital. I login by using only lowercase characters.

I don't know much about the imap protocol, but could it be that Roundcube does not see the correct directory structure (as it does not know that the username on the system contains a capital?).

I had this problem with 0.2.1, and updating to 0.4beta does not help.

Thank you for your help!
